5 Tips to make the perfect Nutella French toast roll up…

  • Cut off the crusts: Cutting off the crusts makes the bread thinner and more pliable, which helps with rolling up and sealing the edges. It also makes the roll ups more uniform and neat.
  • Spread Nutella evenly: Make sure to spread Nutella on the entire surface of the bread slice, leaving a small border around the edges. This will ensure that every bite has enough Nutella and prevent it from leaking out during cooking.
  • Roll up tightly: Roll up the bread slice from one end to the other, pressing firmly as you go. Pinch the seams and tuck in the ends to seal them well. This will prevent the roll ups from unraveling or bursting open during cooking.
  • Cook over medium-low heat: Cook the roll ups in batches over medium-low heat, turning occasionally to brown all sides evenly. Don’t cook them over high heat or they will burn on the outside before they are cooked through on the inside.
  • Enjoy while warm: These roll ups are best enjoyed while they are still warm and gooey. You can keep them warm in a low oven until ready to serve, or reheat them in a microwave if needed.
