Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups /180g plain flour
- 4 tbsp caster sugar
- 2tsp baking powder
- 1tbsp cinnamon
- 1/2tsp grated nutmeg
- 1/2tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 Granny Smith apples or 4 smaller apples like Gala/Golden delicious
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Remove the skin and chop in the chopped apples into small cubes.
- Add the eggs, milk, vanilla extract and melted butter. Mix using whisk or spatula. Do not over mix.
- Stir in the chopped apples.
- Heat the oil in a deep sauce pan to 350F, fry the fritters for 4 mins, 2 mins on each side until golden brown.
- Dust the fritters in cinnamon sugar, make a small hole then squeeze 1tbsp of Nutella into each fritter.
