Strawberry Tiramisu

What does Strawberry Tiramisu taste like?

It’s the perfect summery dessert and it’s so easy to make. The edition of strawberries gives the Tiramisu adds a fruity twist to this classic dessert.

What’s the red powder on the top?

It’s freeze-dried strawberry powder, and it tastes amazing. The flavour is really intense and adds even more strawberry flavour to the Tiramisu.

So how do you make Strawberry Tiramisu?

  1. Wash and slice 250g of strawberries, add to a bowl and sprinkle 1-2 tbsp caster sugar on top. Gently mix the sugar and strawberries together using a spoon. Set aside.
  2. Add 700g Mascarpone cheese into a bowl.
  3. Add 3 tbsp sifted icing/powdered sugar and mix together using a spatula.
  4. Pour 3 tbsp of Marsala wine and mix until smooth using a spatula.
  5. Dip 3 sponge fingers into a bowl with coffee liquor and add to the bottom of a cocktail glass.
  6. Add 3 tbsp of Mascarpone on top of the sponge fingers, then 2-3 tbsp of strawberries.
  7. Add another layer of mascarpone and sift 1 tbsp of the freeze-dried strawberry powder on top.
  8. Finish the strawberry tiramisu with one small strawberry on top.
