Ingredients
Puff pastry bows (2 Jus-rol puff pastry sheets makes 4 bows)
- 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (chilled, not frozen)
- Nutella (approx. 1 heaped tbsp per bow)
Instructions
- Unroll your puff pastry sheet and cut out 6-inch round circles using a cutter, bowl, or template.
- Place 1 heaped tablespoon of Nutella onto each pastry circle. Spread it over half of the circle.
- Fold the pastry over to create a semicircle and press the edges together firmly. Shape the bow:
- Using a sharp knife, make two slits in the curved edge of the semicircle, evenly spaced, making three “tabs.”
- Gently pull the middle tab forward, and tuck the two outer tabs underneath it to create a bow shape.
(Everything stays attached — you’re just rearranging the sections.)
- Brush the top of each bow with beaten egg for a shiny golden finish.
- Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment and bake at 160°C fan for 20-25 minutes until puffed, golden, and crisp.
