Ingredients

Ferrero Rocher Cake Pops

  • 1 small supermarket chocolate cake (5-inch)
  • 300g milk chocolate
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 60g nuts, finely chopped (hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts or mixed nuts all work)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake
Cut the top off the chocolate cake to remove any domed surface. Slice the cake into 8 even pieces.

  2. Chop the nuts
Finely chop your nuts and set aside.

  3. Melt the chocolate
Chop the milk and dark chocolate into  small pieces,  melt in the microwave 20 seconds at a time until melted. Add the coconut oil and mix togther gently until smooth.

  4. Add the crunch
    Stir the chopped nuts.

  5. Add the sticks
Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it into the base of each cake slice. This helps secure the stick.

  6. Coat the cake pops
Place the cake pops on a wire rack. Pour the chocolate mixture over each one, making sure they’re fully coated.

  7. Set
Transfer to the fridge and chill until the chocolate is completely set.
