If you’re looking for an easy but indulgent recipe to make this Valentine’s Day, these 3-Ingredient Valentine’s Day Bacon & Cheese Twists are guaranteed to impress. Made with shop-bought puff pastry, crispy bacon, and melted cheese, they’re twisted, baked until golden, and served with a gooey baked camembert for dipping. This is the ultimate cheese lovers sharing bake – perfect for a cosy Valentine’s Day date night at home, a relaxed starter, or simply an excuse to eat melted cheese straight from the oven.

Ingredients
Bacon & Cheese Twists
- 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
- 6–8 rashers streaky bacon, cooked until crispy
- 80–100g grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- Optional - drizzle honey on the bacon
For Serving
- 1 whole camembert (in a wooden box or baking dish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry and sprinkle the grated cheese evenly on top.
- Cut into strips (around 3cm wide), then twist each strip a few times and place onto the lined baking tray.
- Separate streaky bacon into two pieces, wrap one half around each puff pastry twist.
- Optional- drizzle honey on the bacon.
- Bake the twists for 20-25 minutes, or until puffed, golden, and crisp.
- If serving with a baked Camembert, place it in the oven for 10 minutes before the cheese and bacon twists, continue to bake together. Camembert usually takes between 20-30 minutes), you want the inside to be soft and gooey in the centre.
- Serve warm, with the bacon & cheese twists dipped straight into the melted camembert.
