Ingredients

  • 7 strips streaky bacon
  • 1 Boursin cheese
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • Optional: honey, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. If using, lightly drizzle honey onto the paper.
  2. Lay the streaky bacon strips flat on the tray, slightly overlapping to form a base.
  3. Place the Boursin on top of the bacon and gently spread it out across the surface.
  4. Lay the puff pastry sheet over the top, pressing down lightly around the edges to seal.
  5. Score the puff pastry and egg wash.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 185°C fan for 25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
  7. Remove from the oven and leave to rest for 5 minutes. Carefully flip onto a board or plate, then slice and serve.
  8. Optional serve with a drizzle of honey.
