Ingredients
- 7 strips streaky bacon
- 1 Boursin cheese
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- Optional: honey, for drizzling
Instructions
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper. If using, lightly drizzle honey onto the paper.
- Lay the streaky bacon strips flat on the tray, slightly overlapping to form a base.
- Place the Boursin on top of the bacon and gently spread it out across the surface.
- Lay the puff pastry sheet over the top, pressing down lightly around the edges to seal.
- Score the puff pastry and egg wash.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 185°C fan for 25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and leave to rest for 5 minutes. Carefully flip onto a board or plate, then slice and serve.
- Optional serve with a drizzle of honey.
