What does this Oreo Cheesecake Yorkshire Pudding taste like?
It tastes like a choux bun or profiteroles but with an Oreo cheesecake filling inside. I love how fun they are to make and how confused but intrigued guests are when I whip them out for dessert.
I thought Yorkshire puddings are savoury?
They are traditionally savoury and served with a roast, but they also taste amazing served as a dessert.
Did you know that Yorkshire pudding batter is similar to pancake batter?
Not many people know this but it’s true, the batter has the same ingredients as pancakes. I guess this is the reason they can be enjoyed as a dessert as well.

How do you make the Oreo Cheesecake Yorkshire Puddings?
Yorkshire pudding
Add oil into each hole in a cupcake tin, heat in the oven for 15mins at 225c until the oil is very hot. Make the Yorkshire pudding batter whilst the oil is heating up.
Add plain flour, whole milk and eggs into a mixing bowl.
Mix together using a whisk. You can mix in a blender to make the batter smooth and remove all the lumps.
Carefully remove the cupcake pan from the oven and fill each cupcake hole with 2/3 of the Yorkshire pudding batter. Put the tin back in the oven immediately for 12 mins or until the Yorkshire puddings have risen and are golden brown.
Oreo cheesecake filling
Add cream cheese and caster sugar into a bowl. Mix together until the sugar is combined then stir Oreo cookie crumbs into the mix.
Do not stir too much, you want the cream cheese to be white with flecks of Oreo cookie crumbs throughout.
Add the Oreo cheesecake mix into a piping bag, pipe into the middle of each Yorkshire pudding (this amount will fill 4 Yorkshire puddings), then top with a piece of Oreo cookie and drizzle melted chocolate on top.
